a change is gonna come

I’ve been through quite a number of years,

and the blues always beside _
I’ve cried so many nights, so many tears,
and the blues really pushed me down _

now I wonder, if this might last forever,
should I stay in misery ?
I’d like to know the other side, but,
Time determines reality _

a change is gonna come,
a change will be _
I’ll run to you my love,
and you will feel…

I’ve met quite a number of challenges,
and the blues always beside _
such as a leitmotiv it made me wonder,
if Blues couldn’t stay aside _

Now I hope these things will change,
what about my destiny ?
I’d like to know, if somebody’s up there,
how it’s supposed to be ?

a change is gonna come,
and you will see _
the love I’ll send to you,
would be something real…

I’ve traveled quite a number of miles,
the river’s always flowing beside _
I don’t like being inside the central line,
my survival instinct is to stay aside _

staying aside ain’t living aside,
just being a part of the human crowd.
ain’t got the strength of a high-considered man,
just enough to justify my presence.

keep going through these shadows
attracted by an odd glimmer in the distance
but the rain has washed its light away
keep walking steady despite the pain

turning in circles in that narrow room
outside a bleeding pavement, resembles a cell
this whole damned living feels as a prison
keep waiting for the bells...

         aiming to wake me up

tightrope walker

feels as if you walked on ice
see thru that surface on the ground
progress smoothly avoid to slide
ain't this what you've been aiming for?

see them swirls below your feet
feel that freeze – feel that need
should ya topple just keep the beat
head out of the water, moving deep

walk on a thin line
though we should stick together
make this ours, a million minds
striving in the same direction...

tightrope walker 'tween these beetling cliffs
don't really cares how Time goes by
down below the brash river flows unleashed
while the world keeps turning on and on...

walkabout in Nature
don't know where you're going
stroll through the city
there's just so many people

tip of the iceberg

another night is coming
you stand alone
the tip of the iceberg
so many hours wasted
you stand there, now light that fire,
looking for someone - anyone-
expect to find your soul mate
you are but the tip of the iceberg
with so much to erase
too many doubts & odd feelings
you ain't got the say

just light another one and look up in the sky
the stars are all shining above a 2000 miles

and when the morning lights are going to
stretch beneath your blinds
then you'll have to face that crowd of innocent smiles
catch up with the tide...

all you'd do is frown and cast a glimpse
in the mirror that does reflect
this odd & loving person - yourself! -
and you'd be smilin' and groovin' alike
proud of what you are in moment 't' - seekin' for confidence -
you'll be but one among so many
so much to give, nothing to share
but still with that same old feeling,
like the tip of the iceberg
and just to know what lies beyond is what you left
will give you the lead & some pushing
whether good or bad you can"t tell
it's just like letting go of what you had
and sometimes your emotions so rough & sad

carpe diem

Time is such a relative concept.
It’s lying right there inside our minds
It could weigh so heavy sometimes
But this time I know I’ll get through with it somehow

‘Cos Time’s a healer and that’s alright

I was taught to be patient and I waited
All through my life _
So many nights of sorrow and so many
Roads that passed me by _

Now my only real ambition was to stay
Aside and survive _

Like I’m a born loser and it seemed alright

Time is such a strange concept.
It’s lying there on our minds
Cloudy skies that are gradually darkening
Weather changes turn them shiny and bright

And I thought it ought to help or heal me somehow
I did stall between two edges but that’s alright

Until Time brought along the wonder,
The beauty, the freshness, the light !
Our paths happened to get together,
I saw the emotion in your eyes _

And I sure knew my starving living
Had a reason to be lived somehow
‘Cos then I met the one and only loving
person with whom I’d share my life.
